Now, two more players have been sidelined with injuries, the club revealed.

Kaizer Chiefs suffer fresh injury blows

Hours before Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Durban City, Kaizer Chiefs lost midfielder Ethan Chislett to injury.

The club confirmed their midfielder suffered a hamstring strain. It remains to be seen how long he’ll be out for.

Furthermore, just a week after making his long-awaited debut Nkanyiso Shinga is also out injured.

The good news is that Kaizer Chiefs will have a full week to regroup. They’ll be in action again next weekend.

Amakhosi to face Magesi next

Next up for Kaizer Chiefs is relegation candidates Magesi FC.

A win for the Glamour Boys on Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium could see them climb back into the top four.

Chiefs are 15 points behind log leaders Orlando Pirates. They do however have two games in hand.

Should they win their two games in hand, they’ll be nine points behind, with nine games to go.
