With the PLE set to take place in Italy this weekend, there was little room for error in those WWE stars taking part in live events this week.
As well as a big title match between Cody Rhodes and Gunther, fans have also been looking forward to a potential main event match between Roman Reigns and his cousin, Jacob Fatu.
WWE have gone all in on this storyline over the past month or two and there is a genuine interest from fans in who comes out on top – Reigns or Fatu.
However, thanks to a WWE Live event in Liverpool, we might not end up getting that match at all.

We often see reports of wrestlers getting injured and thanks to some kayfabe mastery by Seth Rollins in recent times, we’re still left guessing at times if it’s a work or real.
However, during a WWE Live event in Liverpool last night, it appears that Jacob Fatu has picked up a legitimate injury.
PWInsider reports that suggestions of Fatu being genuinely hurt are indeed accurate.
In fact, there is a touch of panic within the WWE ranks, so much so, that officials are said to be considering alternative plans if Fatu is not medically cleared.
Images and videos doing the rounds on social media showed Fatu visibly uncomfortable as he limped away from the ring following a street fight with Solo Sikoa.
Quite what the extent of the injury is or if indeed Fatu will sit out this weekend, remains unknown.
However, if it is the case, it’s another major spanner in the works for the company who has just seen Logan Paul injured and CM Punk away from television for weeks.
